Helen Dennis is a British artist based in New York. Through detailed architectural renderings her work depicts the tension, movement and energy found in urban environments.


Using alternative photographic processes, dominated by fine lines and geometric structures  she creates large installations that are a fusion of drawing and photography. Her large scale public art works have been commissioned by the Downtown Alliance of New York, The LAB Gallery for Installation Art, NoLongerEmpty and the DUMBO Arts Festival.

Helen has exhibited or undertaken projects and residencies, with the support of the Queens Museum, Residency Unlimited, NYFA, MASS MoCA, the Icelandic Arts Association, South East Arts UK and the Arts Council of Wales. International residencies have taken place with organisations in Beijing, Cyprus, Italy, Reykjavik and Wales,
